| Traditionally Reiki, as handed down for over a hundred years, contains no outside channeling elements with the exception of Divine Light. For example, many are now claiming other influences as part of the Reiki system and a significant number of people have reported favorable results from incorporating them into their current Reiki practice. And while it is agreed that use of these practices may have noticeable effects - and like many other spiritual meditative techniques, can be a valid practice in terms of self-development - again, it is not a question of whether or not they "work" per se, but rather a question as to its status as an original Reiki technique. Dr. Mikao Usui only taught 3 levels of Reiki. Reiki One, Reiki Two and Reiki Three, also known as Master/Teacher There are no other known levels in traditional Reiki. Although some would have you believe that you need to take Reiki 1, 1B, 2, 2B (?) and so on, there is none of this in the traditional Reiki system of teaching! Others teach that one must wait at least 21 days between Reiki One and Two Classes, however Dr. Usui did not force the issue. Many, Reiki Masters, including Diane Stein, teach Reiki One, Two and Master classes in one weekend! I have taught them successfully one after the other for years. Do not believe the stories of negative effects from the intensive classes, or the so called "de-tox" . My students enjoy the swiftness of getting on with the work! And, many students have gone on to become Master/Teachers. Why wait a month when you can raise your vibrational level and begin helping others immediately? Once your Reiki One and Two class is completed you ARE a Reiki Practitioner! You can practice Reiki anywhere in the world. Now, you may be wondering how much you can charge for treatments. Although several factors may determine how much you can earn, such as where you live, it is safe to say that you can earn up to 75.00 an hour. Although you may be practicing in order to make a living, it is important to make sure that your rates are reasonable so that people who may have limited incomes may benefit from your work. Doing research on what the other Reiki practitioner rates in your area are can help you choose the price that will be the most reasonable and appealing to clients. And in addition to working as a Reiki practitioner, you can also become a Reiki Master/Teacher Then you can pass the knowledge to many others and help the modality spread. Spiritual Attunement and Reiki Two Certificate Cost: 100.00 Reiki 3 or Master/Teacher Class Pre-requisites: Usui Reiki One and Two Certificates You MUST have practiced for at least 6 months as a practitioner The Usui Reiki Master or Master/Teacher course is the final practitioner training level in the Usui Reiki System of Natural Healing. You will receive the Usui Reiki Master Attunement which not only opens all your energy centers to a higher degree, but you will also receive and learn to use the Reiki Master Symbol. You will learn to pass attunements to others and will receive guidance and tips on how to teach a student or a class. Upon completion, you are also bestowed with not only your certificate but also your copy of your Usui Reiki Master lineage. A Reiki lineage is a list of Reiki Masters (teachers) starting with the person that taught you Reiki and then going back, teacher by teacher, to the founder of Reiki, Mikao Usui. Since Reiki is Divine energy based on your intention to help others heal, there is not a great amount of book learning and anyone, including children can learn it easily and use it effectively after the first class! Due to the fact that I prepare learning materials for each student and can not schedule other appointments on the same day of a scheduled private Reiki class, all cancellations within 24 hours of class time are subject to a $30.00 fee.
